The Broncos signed Key to the practice squad Monday, Aric DiLalla of the team's official site reports.
Analysis:Key was waived by the Broncos on Sunday, but he impressed the coaching staff enough in training camp to be invited to stay as a member of the team's practice squad. He played in all three of the Broncos' preseason games, finishing with three catches (on six targets) for 52 yards while adding a tackle on special teams.
