Cone posted a 24-under cumulative score at the AdventHealth Championship on the Korn Ferry Tour to finish tied with Sandy Scott and Davis Shore for fourth.
Analysis:Cone's eight-under 64 second round was his best score of the tournament, and he followed that up with back-to-back, six-under 66 rounds over the weekend. He gained 5.36 strokes off the tee, which was second-best in the field in Kansas City. He also ranked T3 in birdies, T9 in GIR, 15th in both driving distance and SG: Putting and 19th in driving accuracy. The 2026 season has been a struggle for Cone, who was a full-time member of the PGA last year. He's made the cut in only six of 20 KFT events this season, but he's 49th in the Points List heading into the four-tournament Finals Event that kicks off Sept. 10 at the Simmons Bank Open. Those in the top-20 of the Points List at the conclusion of the Korn Ferry Tour Championship in October earn a PGA Tour membership for 2027.
