Taimani (undisclosed) was waived with an injury designation by the Vikings on Monday, Ron Kleifield and Lindsey Young of the team's official website report.
Analysis:Taimani signed with Minnesota in January, and he has recorded three total tackles over the team's first two preseason games. If the defensive tackle goes unclaimed on waivers, he'll revert to injured reserve with the Vikings.
