Head coach Jesse Minter said Monday that he didn't have a "definitive answer" for whether Madubuike (neck) will be available for the Ravens' regular-season opener against the Colts on Sunday, Sept. 13, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
Analysis:Madubuike suffered a serious neck injury during Week 2 of the 2025 season, but he was activated from the PUP list in late July and has been participating in training camp practices. He hasn't played in either of the Ravens' two preseason games and is unlikely to suit up Friday against the Commanders, and he's also far from a guarantee to suit up in Week 1 of the upcoming campaign. Broderick Washington and CJ Okoye would take on elevated roles at defensive end alongside Calais Campbell if Madubuike is sidelined to start the regular season.
