Dugger (undisclosed) will not start the season at quarterback for Washington State, Greg Woods of The Spokane Spokesman-Review reports.
Analysis:Dugger was bested by UC Davis transfer Caden Pinnick for the Cougars' leading role. Dugger is also dealing with an injury that kept him out of last Friday's scrimmage, so backup duties are likely to go to Owen Eshelman in the meantime.
