Matsuyama fired a three-under 67 on Sunday at the BMW Championship to finish three-under and tied for 28th.
Analysis:Matsuyama ranked top-10 among the field in each of SG: Approach, driving accuracy and GIR percentage throughout the week, but he lost 4.78 strokes with the flat stick and another 1.16 strokes around the green at Bellerive Country Club. Matsuyama's streak of four consecutive top-10 results came to an end, but he remains 16th in the FedExCup standings ahead of next week's TOUR Championship.
