Louisiana Tech head coach Sonny Cumbie said that Calwise was on the sideline during practice with a leg related injury, Ben Carlisle of On3.com reports.

Calwise comes over from Eastern Kentucky, totaling 74 receptions for 943 yards and 10 touchdowns through two campaigns. Louisiana Tech opens its season at home against Northwestern State on Sept. 5.
