Analysis:Bennett ran into trouble early, surrendering three runs across the first two innings, but settled in to complete seven frames as part of a winning effort. The rookie's effectiveness had been waning of late, as he posted a 5.67 ERA and 1.44 WHIP over 27 innings in his previous five starts entering Sunday. With an overall 3.49 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 67:18 K:BB across 87.2 innings (15 starts), the southpaw is tentatively slated to pitch next weekend on the road against the Yankees.
