Guehi scored one goal to go with two shots (one on goal) and one chance created in Sunday's 2-1 victory against AFC Bournemouth.
Analysis:Guehi was handed a new role Sunday, which was a surprise to most, as the center-back was boosted into a midfield role for the season opener. He would end up completing 56 of his 59 passes despite a bit of unsteadiness in the first half an hour. He would then blunder a great chance to equalize in the second half before making up for that exact miss in the 84th minute, scoring a header to level the contest. His new role could lead the defender to some new opportunities, as he will find more chances for assists and goals than in defense. However, this role is unlikely to stick long, as City is set to spend some money to end the transfer window, already looking to have completed the signing of a new midfielder in Ayyoub Bouaddi of Lille.
