After a rough start in which he gave up eight runs in 2.1 frames July 18 in Colorado, Lowder has given up six earned runs over 17 innings (3.18 ERA) with a 12:4 K:BB in his last three outings. The 24-year-old is tentatively scheduled to pitch next week against the White Sox.
