Washington's Quaid Carr: First-team chances to begin fall

Rotowire ·

Carr will get first-team chances for the beginning of Washington's fall camp, Andy Yamashita of The Seattle Times reports.

Analysis:

During the Washington team's spring camp, Carr broke out, taking advantage of injuries to fellow running backs Jayden Limar (ankle), Trey Cooley (knee) and Jordan Washington (neck). So even though a majority of the trio is healthy, Carr will be UW's updated RB1, albeit temporarily. Even though Carr's newfound opportunity does not assure him the aforementioned role to begin his 2026 season, at least he is inching closer. Say it does not work out for the running back, he should log an improved campaign anyway, considering his 2025 was limited to fewer than five rushing attempts.
