Echols (undisclosed) has shed his non-contact status for the beginning of Auburn's fall camp, Nathan King of 247Sports.com reports.
Analysis:In 2025, Echols logged nine receptions (on 21 targets) for 109 yards and three touchdowns for South Florida, then managed by Alex Golesh. The tight end followed Golesh to Auburn, and if the former can clean up his catching rate, he can be among college football's top tight ends next season. But if Jake Johnson continues to work as Auburn's top TE in fall camp, Echols' aforementioned objective would be a lot more difficult and unlikely to accomplish.
