Harrell (knee) is operating with a brace for Wednesday's practice, Hunter Bailey of The Charlotte Observer reports.
Analysis:Bailey's update publicizes where Harrell is in his recovery; the good news is that he is able to be on the field. But unlike UNC-Charlotte's spring practice, when the quarterback practiced without a brace, he has one on this week, so his injured knee may still be problematic. In the meantime, Harrell's status is questionable for Sept. 5, when the 2026 49ers are scheduled to begin their regular season.
