The Angels selected Weiman's contract from Double-A Rocket City on Tuesday.
Analysis:Weiman has made only 14 appearances with Rocket City this season due to injury, but he's been effective in allowing five runs (four earned) with a 19:3 K:BB over 15.2 innings. The lefty will be making his major-league debut when/if he gets into a game.
