Young (knee) is available going into Notre Dame's fall camp, Mike Berardino of the South Bend Tribune reports.
Analysis:After suffering a torn ACL last summer, Young watched from the sidelines as Notre Dame logged an entire season without him. The running back has re-enrolled there, and as part of the 2026 Fighting Irish's roster, he provides more depth to their RB room. Young is more on the relatively proven side, having logged 21 rushing attempts for 116 yards (5.5 averaged per carry) and one touchdown his freshman season in 2024.
