Fisk posted a 16-under cumulative score at the ISCO Championship and won the tournament after defeating Taylor Pendrith on the third playoff hole.
Analysis:Fisk raced out to an early lead with a seven-under 63 opening round that included five-straight birdies from holes two to six. He slowed down over the next two days and spent Sunday chasing the top of the leaderboard, and he was able to do just that after going three-under on the back nine to force a playoff with Pendrith. Neither player could separate themselves in the first two playoff holes, but Fisk found the green in regulation on the third chance, and his two-putt par was enough for him to seal the win following Pendrith's bogey. It was the second PGA Tour victory of Fisk's career, and his short game helped him minimize his mistakes at Hurstbourne Country Club, leading to just three bogeys for the tournament. He also ranked seventh in SG: Off-the-Tee, T9 in birdies, T10 in GIR, 11th in SG: Approach and 16th in both driving distance and SG: Putting. Fisk will take a short break, as he's not listed in the field for the Corales Puntacana Championship nor The Open Championship next week. Importantly for Fisk, his win moved him up to 61st in the FedExCup Standings, which would be enough for him to earn a spot in the playoffs at the FedEx St. Jude Championship.
