Analysis:
Hawkins transferred to West Virginia after spending two seasons at Oklahoma, totaling 950 passing yards, six touchdowns and two interceptions in addition to 262 rushing yards and two scores on the ground. Now, he's firmly in a battle with the returnee Scotty Fox, who got plenty of experience last year with the Mountaineers tossing for 1,276 yards, seven touchdowns and six interceptions while completing 59.4 percent of his passes.
