The Brewers selected Jones' contract from Triple-A Nashville on Tuesday.
Analysis:Jones went 2-for-21 at the plate during a stint with the Brewers earlier this season and has slashed .289/.423/.380 with one home run and 21 stolen bases with Nashville. The 28-year-old will be a backup at all three outfield spots as well as second base.
