Chelsea's Malo Gusto: Suffers foot knock in training

Gusto suffered a blow to the top of his right foot after contact with Lucas Digne during training Wednesday, but the issue is not considered serious and he will be available for France's second game against Iraq, according to Arthur Perrot of RMC Sport.

Analysis:

Gusto's quick clearance is a relief given the proximity of the World Cup, with the Chelsea right-back representing a decent alternative option behind Jules Kounde and Warren Zaire-Emery in the battle for the starting spot on the right side of the defense. Gusto ended a solid season with three goals, five assists and 73 tackles across 45 appearances for Chelsea, giving coach Didier Deschamps valuable depth on the right flank heading into the tournament.
