Lee posted a six-over 78 in the second round of the Memorial Tournament to miss the cut by three strokes.
Analysis:
Lee logged a two-over 74 score in the first round but was still on track to make it to the five-over cut line. He proceeded to go five-over on the front nine of the second round but got back on track with a birdie on the 14th and an eagle on the 15th, only to lose three strokes across the final two holes to miss the cut. Lee's putter was his downfall, as he lost 3.26 strokes on the green Friday, which was the worst out of the 72-man field. He's not in the field for the RBC Canadian Open next week, so Lee's next appearance will be in two weeks at the U.S. Open Championship. He missed the cut in last year's major.
