Jeremy Paul: Drops to T3 at UNC Health

Rotowire3 days ago

Paul posted a two-over 72 in the final round of the UNC Health Championship on the Korn Ferry Tour to finish tied with Tyler Wilkes for third.

Analysis:

Paul was one of the best performers through the first two rounds, scoring rounds of 63-64 with only three birdies and 16 birdies. However, the 32-year-old German struggled over the weekend, carding six bogeys to just one birdie. He was actually at the top of the leaderboard at 10-under through the front nine of the final round, but he collapsed on the back nine with bogeys on the 11th, 12th and 17th holes before sneaking back into the top-3 with a birdie on the 18th. Paul finished the tournament T4 in GIR, T9 in birdies made, 11th in SG: Putting, T13 in driving distance and in the top-25 in both SG: Approach and Around-the-Green. Despite the poor showing over the weekend, it was Paul's best performance since his T2 at the Corales Puntacana Championship on the PGA Tour in April of 2025. He's listed in the field for the Korn Ferry's BMW Charity Pro-Am next week.
