Njie (suspension) has signed with Hampton, the program announced.
Analysis:
Njie, who has been under investigation by the NCAA for alleged gambling-related activity and was let go by Dayton as a result, has found a new home with Hampton. It's unclear if he'll even be able to play as there has not yet been a resolution to the investigation, but if he can play it will be will be with the Pirates. In his lone season -- with Iona in 2024-25 -- he averaged 12.0 points, 2.8 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 1.7 steals across 29.0 minutes per game, so he figures to make an impact if he's eligible.
