Spieth surged into a share of 18th place after shooting a two-under 68 in the final round of the PGA Championship.
Analysis:Spieth had a lot of attention on him this week as he always does at the PGA Championship as he looks to win this tournament and complete the career grand slam. Spieth got off to a nice start in the first round, but just couldn't buy a putt the rest of the way. He finished 79th of the 82 players that made the cut in SG: Putting. That has to be extremely frustrating considering that he was third in SG: Tee-to-Green. That type of ball striking at a major typically is going to give you a great chance to win, but Spieth was well back entering the final round. The three-time major champion is still looking for his first win since 2022. He has spiked in almost every statistical at some point this season, but just can't put everything together. Spieth will try to do just that next week at THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson.
