Tommy Fleetwood: MC at PGA Championship

Rotowire7 days ago

Fleetwood missed the cut by one stroke at the PGA Championship after posting scores of 72-73.

Analysis:

Fleetwood was facing an uphill battle to make it to the weekend after going three-over on the front nine of the second round, and he wasn't able to make up enough ground on the back to reach the four-over cut line. It was the Englishman's first missed cut of the season and his first MC at the PGA Championship since 2021. It was a disappointing outing for Fleetwood, especially coming off the heels of a T5 finish at last week's Truist Championship. He's not listed in the field for next week's Byron Nelson tournament, so the next time Fleetwood tees off will likely either be at the Charles Schwab Challenge on May 28 or the Memorial Tournament on June 4, the latter of which is the penultimate Signature Event of the 2026 PGA Tour season.
