New Mexico's Hudson Mayes: Transferring to UNM

Mayes will play for New Mexico in the 2026-27 season, according to Geoff Grammer of the Albuquerque Journal.

Analysis:

Mayes spent the previous season at UC San Diego and posted decent numbers, averaging 11.1 points and 5.7 rebounds per contest. A guard who can play both wing spots, Mayes should add some much-needed depth at the two and three positions for the Lobos.
