Kirk Cousins has left a positive impression on his Atlanta Falcons teammates with his grasp of current slang.
Falcons running back Bijan Robinson told Kay Adams of the "Up and Adams" show Tuesday that the 36-year-old quarterback frequently uses popular lingo.
"He'll actually be with the times," the 22-year-old Robinson said. "I'm not trying to give him some catchphrases that he needs to know or anything. He's with it. He knows what's going on.
"He's always like, 'Yo, that's lit.' … Or if he says something a little crazy, he'll be like, 'Pause.'"
Cousins joined the Falcons on a four-year, $180-million contract in March as a free agent. He spent the last six seasons with the Minnesota Vikings, throwing for 23,265 yards, 171 touchdowns, and 55 interceptions in 88 games.
