X map shows Biles is most popular American Olympian at 2024 Games

It appears a lot of people across the United States will be watching Simone Biles at the Paris Olympics.

A map created by Betonline.ag based on geotagged X data gathered in the last month, including over 320,000 tweets, shows the gymnast is the most popular Olympian in 27 states and the overwhelming favorite American athlete competing in the 2024 Games.

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James, who's playing for the U.S. men's basketball team, came in at No. 2 as the favorite in 11 states.

Biles is making her third trip to the Olympics this year after competing at Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020. She's the ninth-most decorated female Olympic gymnast of all time with a total of seven medals, including four gold.
