The Winnipeg Jets acquired defenseman Dylan Coghlan from the Carolina Hurricanes for future considerations, the teams announced Saturday.
Coghlan, 26, played a single NHL game last season but showed promise in the minors with 16 goals and 41 points for the AHL's Springfield Thunderbirds.
He's currently a restricted free agent.
Coghlan went undrafted and made his NHL debut in 2020-21 with the Vegas Golden Knights. He's managed 22 points in 106 career games.
