Philadelphia Eagles guard Landon Dickerson won't be splurging on a new car or house after inking a historic extension this week.
When asked Tuesday what he plans on doing with his new contract, the 25-year-old said he plans to buy himself some new lawn equipment.
"I have a financial advisor for a reason," Dickerson told reporters. "I don't know, I may go get a new lawn mower. Something I've been looking into ... zero-turn."
Dickerson had one year remaining on the four-year, $8.657-million rookie deal he signed after being drafted by the Eagles in 2021. He'll reportedly earn $84 million in base salary plus $3 million in incentives under his new contract.
With an average annual salary of $21 million, Dickerson now ranks as the highest-paid guard in NFL history.
Dickerson started 16 games for the Eagles last season, earning Pro Bowl honors for the second straight year.
