Chad Powers is getting his own series.

Streaming service Hulu ordered a half-hour comedy series based on the college football character created by former New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning, according to Variety's Joe Otterson.

The show centers around a quarterback named Russ Holliday, who disguises himself as Powers in an attempt to walk onto a struggling Southern college football team.

Manning first went undercover as Powers, then as a walk-on candidate for Penn State, as part of a sketch for his ESPN+ docuseries "Eli's Places" in 2022.

Glen Powell, known for his roles in "Top Gun: Maverick" and "Anyone But You," will star in the series in addition to serving as a co-creator, co-writer, and executive producer alongside "Loki" creator Michael Waldron. Manning and his brother Peyton will also executive produce the series through their company Omaha Productions.

"The love for Chad Powers has surprised me in spectacular ways," Eli said in a statement. "I played 16 years in the NFL, but now when I'm in a restaurant or walking through an airport, it's not uncommon for fans to scream, 'Hey Chad!' I'm so excited to team up with my friends Glen Powell, Michael Waldron and Omaha Productions to continue to tell the Chad Powers story and see what he does next."
