Beverley calls out KAT for not defending Gobert: 'Choke Draymond back'
Philadelphia 76ers guard Patrick Beverley was disappointed that Karl-Anthony Towns didn't get more involved in the scuffle that occurred during Tuesday's game between the Minnesota Timberwolves and Golden State Warriors.
Beverley, who played with Towns for one season in Minnesota, believes his former teammate should've retaliated against Draymond Green after the Warriors' forward put Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert in a headlock.
"I see KAT make a mean mug face, like 'errr,' but then you ain't doing shit. Choke Draymond back," Beverley said on "The Pat Bev Podcast with Rone." "So now, if I'm Draymond, I'm, 'Yeah, I choke their center and their homies didn't do nothing. If we play y'all in the playoffs - KAT, I ain't worried about you. You didn't even help your homie.'"
Beverley then delivered a message to Towns, saying, "I taught you better than that."

Green was ejected along with teammate Klay Thompson and Timberwolves wing Jaden McDaniels after the brawl, which occurred less than two minutes into Tuesday's In-Season Tournament game at Chase Center.
The Timberwolves went on to defeat the Warriors 104-101 to improve to 8-2 on the season. Towns finished the night with a game-high 33 points.
