Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow said he aggravated his calf injury toward the end of Sunday's 27-24 loss to the Baltimore Ravens.

"I'm not sure how it's going to feel in the next couple of days," said Burrow, according to Mike Petraglia of Jungle Roar Pod. "It's pretty sore right now, but (there is) no telling how it's going to feel, so I think we're going to take it day-by-day."

Burrow was seen limping as he walked onto the field following the loss, which dropped Cincinnati to 0-2. He added that he tweaked his calf on the play before his second touchdown pass late in the fourth quarter.

Bengals head coach Zac Taylor said the plan was for Burrow to return if the team got the ball back at the end of the game, according to James Taylor of NFL Network.

The 26-year-old originally suffered the calf strain in late July and returned to practice in early September.

Burrow struggled against Baltimore following a poor Week 1 performance. He threw for 222 yards and two scores but threw one crucial red-zone interception and averaged just 5.4 yards per attempt.

The former No. 1 pick - who signed an NFL-record five-year, $275-million extension ahead of the regular season - finished the season-opening loss to the Cleveland Browns with 82 yards on 31 attempts.
