Parking in the Denver Nuggets' executive spots could earn you a hefty fine, as rookie guard Christian Braun learned this season.

On a recent episode of the "Rock Chalk Unplugged" podcast, Braun revealed that he received a $15,000 fine before the season started for briefly parking in three spots reserved for Stan Kroenke, whose wife, Ann Walton Kroenke, owns the Nuggets.

"He has three spots. Not only did I park in his spot, I parked in all three of them," Braun said. "So it's $5,000 for each of those executive spots. So I get (fined) $15,000."

Braun noted that he only parked his car sideways for two and a half minutes so he could retrieve his shoes from the locker room. He added that no one was at the arena at the time, but the Nuggets discovered the violation after looking at security footage.

The 22-year-old said he was able to get the fine reduced to $2,500.

Braun, the No. 21 pick of the 2022 NBA Draft, averaged 4.7 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 0.8 assists across 76 regular-season games.
