Report: Bengals' Williams requests trade following Brown signing

Cincinnati Bengals offensive tackle Jonah Williams requested a trade through his agent after the team signed former Kansas City Chiefs tackle Orlando Brown, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Williams, 25, has 42 career starts at left tackle with the Bengals since being selected 11th overall in the 2019 draft.
The Bengals signed Brown to play him at left tackle, which would move Williams to right tackle or a different offensive line position.
Williams' contract is set to expire at the end of the 2023 campaign after the Bengals exercised his fifth-year option last offseason. If he's acquired via trade, his new team could sign the 6-foot-4 blocker to a new extension.
