NC State's Smith stretchered off with neck, elbow injuries

NC State star Terquavion Smith was taken off the court on a stretcher and did not return after suffering neck and elbow injuries from a hard fall in Saturday's 80-69 loss to North Carolina.

Smith was fouled by North Carolina's Leaky Black on a drive with 9:45 left in the second half and appeared to land on his right arm. Black was assessed a flagrant-2 foul on the play and was ejected.
The sophomore guard finished with 12 points. Smith averaged 19.1 points and 4.7 assists in 19 games this season prior to Saturday's contest.
