The "Manningcast" curse is no more.
New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley joined Peyton and Eli Manning on Sept. 12 for the season premiere of the "Manningcast," which has been a source of superstitions since it debuted in 2021. Last season, all seven active NFL players who appeared as guests on the program lost their next game.
That streak came to an end Sunday, though, as the Giants defeated the Carolina Panthers 19-16 to pick up their second straight win of the season. Barkley rushed 21 times for 72 yards and caught three passes for 16 yards in the win.
"Manningcast" returns Sept. 26 for the Monday Night Football matchup between the Giants and Dallas Cowboys.
