Former Golden State Warriors teammates Tim Hardaway, Mitch Richmond, and Chris Mullin are getting the documentary treatment.

The high-scoring trio, who were known as Run TMC during their time together with the Warriors, will be the subject of a feature documentary that is set to begin filming later this year, according to Matt Grobar of Deadline.

The yet-to-be-titled documentary will tell the story of how Run TMC paved the way for the current Warriors dynasty. David Charles Rodrigues ("Neymar: The Perfect Chao") has been tapped to direct the project.

"The Splash Brothers wouldn't be here if it weren't for Run TMC," Rodrigues said. "They may have never won a title, but they changed the game forever. Every great sports dynasty has an origin story, and there are none that are as fun, transformative, and action-packed as the Warriors."

Billed as "the most fun fun sports doc of all time," the project will be "a three-man weave combining basketball, hip-hop, the Bay Area and late-'80s/early '90s nostalgia," Grobar wrote.

Hardaway, Richmond, and Mullin played together for two seasons from 1989-1991 under Hall of Fame head coach Don Nelson.
