Brooks Koepka makes move to LIV Golf

Koepka will take part in the Saudi-backed rival golf tour's first stop in the United States at Pumpkin Ridge in Oregon, which tees off June 30.
He withdrew from this week's Travelers Championship on Tuesday.
The PGA TOUR suspended all players taking part in current and future LIV Golf events earlier this month.
The four-time major winner made headlines June 14 when he said the media was throwing a "black cloud" over the U.S. Open by focusing on LIV Golf.
The world No. 19 has won back-to-back PGA Championships (2018, 2019) and U.S. Opens (2017, 2018), but he's struggled at majors in 2022. Koepka missed the cut at the Masters and finished 55th at the PGA Championship and U.S. Open.
Koepka joins several other big names on the LIV Tour, including former adversary Bryson DeChambeau, Phil Mickelson, Dustin Johnson, Sergio Garcia, Abraham Ancer, Lee Westwood, and Ian Poulter. His brother, Chase Koepka, participated in the inaugural event in London on June 11. Charl Schwartzel won the opening event by one stroke.
The USGA allowed LIV golfers to also compete at the U.S. Open. The PGA TOUR doesn't run the majors.
