The glove former Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Antonio Brown threw into the stands at MetLife Stadium during his infamous meltdown in January fetched $16,911 at auction.
The white Nike glove, which was sold through Lelands, had a starting price of $81 and drew a total of 53 bids before the auction closed Saturday night.
Brown removed the glove before exiting the field in the third quarter of the Buccaneers' 28-24 win over the New York Jets on Jan. 2. He later attributed his midgame exit to the team pressuring him to play through an ankle injury.
Brown, who's currently a free agent, was recently named president of Kanye West's new Donda Sports organization. He and West attended Sunday's Super Bowl LVI together.
