Multiple teams have trade offers on the table for Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who will soon inform the franchise of his plans for the 2022 season, reports ESPN's Dianna Russini.

The four-time NFL MVP is weighing retirement. He reluctantly returned to Green Bay last season amid tension with the organization, but the two sides have seemingly repaired their relationship.

Rodgers, 38, is coming off his second straight MVP campaign. He threw for 4,115 yards with 37 touchdowns and just four interceptions while leading the Packers to their third consecutive 13-win season.

It's unclear which teams have submitted trade proposals for Rodgers or whether the Packers will consider moving him. The Denver Broncos, Las Vegas Raiders, and San Francisco 49ers have been loosely connected to the signal-caller over the past year, while the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Carolina Panthers, and Pittsburgh Steelers are among the teams in the quarterback market this offseason.

Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst said Wednesday he expects to field a "competitive team" in 2022 with or without Rodgers and top wide receiver Davante Adams, who is a pending free agent.
