Metta responds to LeBron's pitch: 'Wish I was ready for a 10 day'
Metta Sandiford-Artest has bad news for fans hoping to see him return to the NBA.
After LeBron James jokingly told the former NBA All-Star to "stay ready" following the Los Angeles Lakers' win over the Houston Rockets on Tuesday night, Sandiford-Artest tweeted he's not ready to sign a 10-day contract.
Hey guys . I wish I was ready for a 10 day. But I’m not. Man I wish I was. Lol.

I’m for sure ready for a 10 minute contract though
Sandiford-Artest, 42, last played in the NBA in 2017 as a member of the Lakers.
James' Lakers have been hit hard this season by injuries and the team's ongoing COVID-19 outbreak. As of Wednesday, L.A. had four players - Rajon Rondo, Trevor Ariza, Kent Bazemore, and Austin Reaves - in health and safety protocols along with head coach Frank Vogel.
