Twitter map shows Lakers are most hated NBA team across U.S.

The Los Angeles Lakers have more haters than any other NBA team this season, according to new Twitter data.

A map Sportsbetting.ag put together shows that half the United States (25 states) dislikes the Lakers more than any other NBA squad. The Brooklyn Nets were the second most hated team with 12 states, followed by the Boston Celtics (four states), Golden State Warriors (four states), Chicago Bulls (three states), and New York Knicks (two states).

The map is based on over 140,000 tweets gathered in the last month that mentioned hating a particular club.

Los Angeles currently sits seventh in the Western Conference at 16-16.
