Bill Russell's championship rings may soon find a new home with Shaquille O'Neal.

On Tuesday's episode of "Inside the NBA," O'Neal said he plans to outbid everyone for the Boston Celtics legend's 11 championship rings when they go up for auction this week.

"I would've liked to have seen the items before the auction, 'cause you know I would like to take some of that stuff off their hands," O'Neal said. "To be able to have all 11 of his rings, nobody's outbidding me on that one."

Russell announced in July that he would be auctioning off some of his most prized NBA memorabilia, including his championship rings, four of his NBA MVP trophies, and his gold medal from the 1956 Olympics. The auction will take place Friday.

O'Neal already owns four championship rings, which he won as a member of the Los Angeles Lakers and Miami Heat.
