Report: Iguodala seeks to play for Nets, Warriors, or Lakers
Veteran forward Andre Iguodala intends to play for either the Brooklyn Nets, Golden State Warriors, or Los Angeles Lakers this upcoming season, Stadium's Shams Charania reports.
Iguodala became a free agent after the Miami Heat declined his $15-million team option for the 2021-22 campaign. While the 37-year-old's offensive game has diminished in recent years, Iguodala still provides strong defense on the wing and brings a championship pedigree.
The former ninth overall pick won Finals MVP with the Warriors in 2015. Iguodala went on to capture two more titles with the franchise before being dealt to Memphis in 2019.
Iguodala averaged 4.4 points on 33% shooting from deep, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in 63 games primarily off the bench for Miami.
