Manchester United are prepared for Paris Saint-Germain to make a formal approach for midfielder Paul Pogba before the summer transfer window closes next month, James Ducker of the Telegraph reports.
United have been reluctant to listen to offers for the 28-year-old in the past. However, the French international is in the final year of his deal, and Ducker reports that United aren't optimistic Pogba will commit to a new contract.
Uncertainty over his future has apparently caught PSG's attention, as they're reportedly confident a bid around €50 million (£43 million) will be enough to convince United to sell rather than risk losing him for free next summer. United paid a club-record £84 million to sign Pogba from Juventus in 2016.
It's also understood that Pogba's agent, Mino Raiola, has met with PSG sporting director Leonardo to discuss contract details.
If Pogba moves to the French capital, he'd be the latest superstar to join this summer following the arrivals of midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum, right-back Achraf Hakimi, center-back Sergio Ramos, and goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.
