Kisakov is a captivating offensive talent who led the MHL - Russia's top junior league - in scoring this past season. The 18-year-old also contributed 10 points in 14 playoff games to help Moscow capture the championship.

There is a knock on Kisakov for is his size, but there's no questioning his ability. He's not a lock to become an NHL superstar but has the type of skillset worthy of a first-round gamble.

What they're saying

"It’s no surprise given his point totals that he’s a player with a lot of skill," said The Athletic's Corey Pronman in his final draft rankings. "He is great on the power play and can create chances at even strength with his stickhandling and vision. He’s not that big or quick, but he projects to play at higher levels because of how hard he works. Kisakov attacks the net frequently, getting a lot of goals around the crease area. He pressures puck carriers well and kills penalties. He will endear himself to coaches with his effort to go with his skill."
