A majority of UFC fans across the United States are hoping to see Conor McGregor emerge victorious in Saturday's trilogy bout against Dustin Poirier, according to new Twitter data.
A map created by Betonline.ag based on over 130,000 geotagged tweets from the last week, including hashtags and direct keyword phrases related to the fight, shows 32 states are rooting for McGregor at UFC 264, while 18 states favor Poirier.
McGregor won the first bout between the two in 2014, defeating Poirier via first-round knockout. Poirier then knocked out McGregor in the second round of their rematch at UFC 257 earlier this year.
