While Borussia Dortmund may finally be ready to give in to the pressure and sell Jadon Sancho, the German side is ready to put up a fight to keep Erling Haaland.

It's understood that Dortmund won't prevent Sancho from leaving this summer if Manchester United match their €90-million (£77.5 million) valuation for the English winger, reports Jacob Steinberg of The Guardian.

United were heavily linked with a move for Sancho last summer, but Dortmund refused to lower their asking price after demanding €250 million for the 21-year-old.

A move this summer appears more likely because Dortmund are open to complete "one big sale" this year, Steinberg adds.

Similar to their stance on Sancho last year, Dortmund look set to resist advances for Haaland from Europe's top clubs in the coming months.

The Bundesliga squad is adamant that the Norwegian striker will remain in Germany for the 2021-22 campaign, with Steinberg reporting Dortmund will likely wait until next summer before considering a possible sale.

Chelsea have reportedly shown a strong interest in Haaland, who has blossomed into one of the world's best strikers over the past 17 months.

The Champions League holders may be ready to test Dortmund's stubborn stance with a bid for Haaland this summer, as deals for other attacking targets, such as Romelu Lukaku and Harry Kane, will be difficult to complete.

Considering that the 20-year-old phenom is reportedly worth more than £150 million, Chelsea have considered a player-plus-cash deal that would include Tammy Abraham moving to Dortmund. But, as Steinberg notes, Dortmund are likely to want just a fee for Haaland.

Lukaku ended talk of a possible move away from Inter Milan, saying he plans to remain with the Serie A champions next season after being linked with a transfer back to Chelsea. And a bid for Kane is expected to fail, as Manchester City are considered favorites to sign the wantaway Tottenham Hotspur striker.
