Canada is protesting Friday's 10-1 loss to the United States in the Baseball Americas Qualifier after a controversial call by the umpires.
With American Logan Forsythe on first base in the eighth inning, Triston Casas hit what initially looked like a home run but was ultimately ruled a double after review.

Normally, the runner on first base wouldn't be permitted to score on the play with it being a double instead of a home run, but Forsythe wasn't called back alongside Casas to extend Team USA's lead.
Canadian manager Ernie Whitt protested, and three umpires left the field with a tournament official. The game was delayed for about 25 minutes before the call was upheld and play resumed.
