Padres-Nats game suspended after shooting outside Nationals Park
Saturday night's game between the San Diego Padres and Washington Nationals has been suspended in the sixth inning due to a shooting outside Nationals Park.
A shooting has been reported outside of the Third Base Gate at Nationals Park.

Fans are encouraged to exit the ballpark via the CF and RF gates at this time.
We're working with law enforcement to provide more information as soon as it becomes available.
D.C. police confirmed four people were shot outside the ballpark. An investigation is active, but there doesn't appear to be an ongoing threat.
The shooting occurred as the top half of the sixth inning ended.

At the time the game was suspended, the Padres led the Nationals 8-4. The contest will resume Sunday at 1:05 p.m. ET ahead of the series finale, the team announced.
